Dutch Sport Horse Sales’ eyecatcher new horse of Carpe Diem
Yesterday the well-known Dutch Sport Horse Sales took place in Kronenberg. During this prestigious event the crème de la creme of young jumping horses formed the collection. Of course Carpe Diem Equestrian Team was represented at the auction. Amongst others Efe Siyahi and Avni Atabek were present. At the end of the evening Efe Siyahi was the lucky new owner of the eyecatcher of the evening.
After the opening act by the winner of Spain’s Got Talent, Cristina Ramos, piece by piece talented jumpers showed up in the arena. When the last horse before the break entered, the public was impressed. The chestnut stallion Corragio (Conthargos x Tjungske) was announced to be one of the eyecatchers of the auction, and that was almost an understatement. Many bidders presented themselves. Efe Siyahi turned out to be the highest bidder and became the new owner of the talented Conthargos son.
The text about Corragio on the DSHS-website:
Without a doubt Corragio is one of the eye-catchers of this edition of the Dutch Sport Horse Sales. He is and exceptional four-year-old Oldenburg-bred jumper who received his license as a breeding stallion in Poland. With the strong progenitor Conthargos as his father and the Carthago-son Tjungske as the mother’s father Corragio has an excellent pedigree, including non-other than the foundation sires Balou du Rouet, Cruising and Quidam. As a jumping prospect Corragio doesn’t need much illustration: he jumps like a dream and is a fantastic ride! The DSHS selection committee describes Corragio as an absolute highlight for the future.
